SNES9x GUI v1.6 Final
=====================
News:
I`m very sorry that the last version was so buggy. This
version was heavily bugfixed and should work 1oo% now.
Let me know if it doesn`t. A french catalog is included.
It was done by Raist. Thanks! If you`ve translated the
catalog to your mother tongue send it to me!! Okay,
I wish you a merry christmas and a happy new year!
Introduction:
Not so long time ago the sources of the popular Super Nintendo
Emulator SNES9x were released. After a very short time the first
Amiga 68k port appeared on the Internet. A PPC port followed
the days. But both ports came without a GUI and that`s why this
proggie is here :) Of course this version is early but it
should work! (if not contact me ;-))
Installation:
Simply drag the drawer to the place where you want it to on your
harddisk or get NewInstaller (Aminet: util/wb/NewInstaller.lha)
and install it !!
Requirements:
- an Amiga :)
- MUI v3.8+
- asl.library v36+
- one of the SNES9x Ports
- SNES Roms
Starting:
All you need to do before clicking on 'Start' is
setting the emulator executable in the 'Prefs/SNES9x'
menu. Then you can use all options of the GUI.
MUI Readme:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
MUI - MagicUserInterface
Version 3.8
(c) Copyright 1992-97, Stefan Stuntz
------------------------------------------------------------------------
MUI is an object oriented system to create and maintain graphical user
interfaces. From a programmers point of view, using MUI saves a lot of
time and makes life much easier. Thinking about complicated terms like
window resizing or font sensitivity is simply not neccesary.
On the other hand, users of MUI based applications have the ability to
customize nearly every pixel of a programs interface according to their
personal taste.
Please click on the Install-MUI icon to install MUI on your system or to
update from previous versions. Latest news and support can be found on
Internet at www.sasg.com.

Attention
If you're still not registered for MUI, check the new and unique
shareware lottery and great discounts at www.sasg.com. Give it a try!
Usage:
Usage is simple because this GUI features bubble help. Move
the mousepointer to a button and wait till the bubble help
appears!
Errors:
There`re several errors that may appear during the usage
of SNES9x GUI:
- Cannot launch Emulator: You forget to set the tooltype
EMULATOR to the emulator executable
you wanna use or the executable
isn`t present on your harddisk!
- Cannot open ROM: The ROM you specified isn`t present on
your harddisk.
- Sound isn`t available yet: You selected the Sound option
which isn`t present yet in
both emulators. It`s only in
the GUI because specifying
the option -nosound makes
the emulator faster!
- IPS patching isn`t available yet: The GUI doesn`t
support .IPS files yet cooz
I haven`t found any documentations
about this patch format. Hold
on! (BTW: If you got some docs
about IPS patching -> send them!)
Bugs:
- are there any?
